According to Wim Boydens, professor and energy expert, future-oriented real estate means more than just saving energy—it involves long-term durability, independence from fossil fuels, and smart building design. Homes should meet current standards and be adaptable to future regulations. Both new constructions and renovations must consider long-term relevance to maintain property value and avoid becoming outdated within a decade.
