The Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) is a key player in the SEEDS project. CERTH’s main job is to develop new technologies that help buildings use energy more wisely.

One of CERTH’s main tasks is creating software solutions that can automatically control and monitor energy use in buildings in an optimized manner. They’re also working on tools that make it easier for people to understand and interact with these systems. To test their ideas, CERTH is applying these technologies to a real building in Greece. Additionally, CERTH is developing advanced control systems for various building components, like heating systems and solar panels, designed to make smart decisions about when and how to generate renewable energy, potentially saving money and reducing environmental impact.

We are very grateful to CERTH and are confident that their work will create innovative solutions to make buildings more energy-efficient and user-friendly.
