PSYCTOTHERM, founded in 1969, specializes in heat exchangers and heat pump systems for buildings, industry, and marine refrigeration. Operating from a state-of-the-art facility in Piraeus, Greece, PSYCTO employs a skilled team of 30 personnel and holds ISO: 9001 certification, ensuring high-quality products and services.
As a key partner in the SEEDS project, PSYCTO’s role is to design and develop an advanced multi-source heat pump system. This system will integrate solar collectors and geothermal energy with a smart control system for optimal efficiency. Using ammonia, a refrigerant with zero Global Warming Potential (GWP) and zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), the project will address challenges such as safety, system design, and material selection. The smart control strategy will dynamically evaluate and prioritize heat sources to ensure peak performance.
Stay tuned for updates as PSYCTOTHERM leads in sustainable heating and cooling solutions!
