Organised within the framework of the SEEDS project, the session brought together experts to discuss practical solutions for reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions in buildings. Through concrete examples and technical insights, the webinar highlighted how innovative technologies can support the transition towards smarter, more efficient and more flexible buildings.

The session featured contributions from:

  • Apostolos Gkountas – PSYCTOTHERM
  • Iakovos Michailidis – Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH)
  • Bernard Zenko – Jožef Stefan Institute

The speakers shared their expertise and presented different approaches to building decarbonisation, including the integration of smart heat pumps, renewable energy systems, digital monitoring, automation and energy flexibility.
