After a productive first day visiting the Hungarian pilot site, the second day took place at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, a perfect setting to dive into technical discussions and project updates. 🎓
The day started with a warm welcome from BME and a series of pilot site and work package updates, giving an overview of progress across all SEEDS activities, from building system design and automation tools, to energy flexibility and replication strategies.
Morning sessions featured:
Short updates from the Belgian, Slovenian, Greek, Hungarian, and Danish pilots, progress presentations from each Work Package (WP2-WP8), including system optimization, smart data platforms, and stakeholder engagement.
The consortium then engaged in interactive panel discussions covering:
Integration and synergies between digital tools across pilots (SolarPlanner, HDLM, INTEMA, Whitebox, greybox, and blackbox MPCs), improving deliverable coherence and presentation of results, risk mitigation strategies, particularly for the Hungarian pilot, ways to strengthen collaboration and project impact as one unified consortium.
The day concluded with a cultural visit to the Royal Castle and a social dinner : great opportunities to continue the exchange in a more informal setting !
