🌱 SEEDS project update – News from our partner PSYCTOTHERM 🇬🇷
“Significant progress has been made in Project SEEDS, particularly in the development of the multi-source heat pump operating with ammonia. We have successfully prepared a simulation model to analyze its performance under various operating conditions, providing valuable insights into its efficiency and functionality. Additionally, the design phase of the heat pump unit has been fully completed. Currently, the manufacturing process is underway, bringing the unit closer to realization. However, some of the main components are still pending due to delivery lead times, which has slightly impacted the assembly timeline. Despite this challenge, the production process is progressing as planned, and we are closely monitoring the supply chain to minimize any delays. Based on the current schedule, we anticipate that the unit will be fully assembled and ready for testing between the end of April and mid-May. This marks a crucial step toward the validation of our design and the subsequent experimental phase. The entire team remains committed to ensuring the timely completion of the project while maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance. We continue to push forward, confident that the outcomes will significantly contribute to advancing sustainable heating/cooling technologies.”
