The Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture (PSACEA) is a prominent Ukrainian higher education institution founded in 1930, located in Dnipro. With approximately 9,000 students and over 55,000 alumni, the academy specializes in engineering and architecture, boasting 7 faculties and 590 full-time faculty members, including 79 full professors and 266 associate professors.
In the SEEDS project, PSACEA contributes to developing an add-on service for the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service, focusing on enhancing satellite observations of pollutant emissions and depositions
Their involvement aims to support European competitiveness in air quality management, precision agriculture, and industrial applications by integrating data through advanced techniques like data assimilation, inverse modeling, and machine learning
The project’s objectives align with PSACEA’s expertise in engineering and technology, particularly in environmental engineering and air pollution research. By participating in SEEDS, the academy helps develop cutting-edge products that will improve understanding of surface pollutant fluxes and support the creation of innovative downstream activities across industrial, agricultural, and air quality sectors.
