From 9 to 13 June, Brussels will host the New European Bauhaus Festival, bringing together urban practitioners, policymakers and researchers from across Europe.

As part of this initiative, SEEDS is collaborating on a public one-day satellite event that will take place on Thursday, 11 June at the Urban Insight Lab in Brussels. The event is organised together with the European projects NexTArc and HeriTace, with Sweco Belgium sharing the first event information through an article on its website.

A Collaborative Event on Climate-Neutral and Circular Neighbourhoods

This event will create a space for exchange around the development of climate-neutral and circular neighbourhoods. It will bring together city officials, architects, engineers, researchers and policymakers for a day of discussion and knowledge sharing.

According to the published information, the programme will include perspectives from European cities and EU initiatives, discussions on adaptive reuse and circular economy in practice, as well as interactive workshops focused on neighbourhood transformation, digital tools and capacity building.

Practical Information

The event will take place on Thursday, 11 June, from 9:00 to 17:30, at the Urban Insight Lab @Sweco, Arenbergstraat 11, 1000 Brussels.

It is organised in collaboration with SEEDS, NexTArc and HeriTace, and is aimed in particular at architects, urban planners, designers, city officials, researchers and professionals involved in New European Bauhaus-related work.
