On 9 October 2025, the SEEDS clustering workshop “Keep it cool” successfully concluded at Sustainable Places 2025 in Milan. Bringing together experts from across Europe, the workshop explored innovative cooling solutions for data centres and industrial applications, highlighting strategies to accelerate the net-zero transition.

Organised by the 2cool2waste projects cluster, the event offered:

• Engaging discussions on common challenges, lessons learned, and collaboration opportunities
  
• Hands-on co-development of strategies to implement net-zero cooling technologies
  
• A unique networking platform connecting leading EU projects and fostering cross-border knowledge sharing

The workshop demonstrated how collaborative efforts and shared expertise can drive Europe toward sustainable, energy-efficient cooling solutions, supporting the broader green transition. ❄️
